Extended Warranty & Cleaning Program
Eligibility
- Applicable to customers who purchased LG Residential Air Conditioner, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, or Styler. Service coverage includes GMA, Luzon (excluding Palawan, Batanes, and Romblon), and selected areas in Visayas and Mindanao.
Program Coverage
- Extended Warranty: Covers parts and labor for repairs due to normal breakdowns.
- Cleaning Service: Regular maintenance cleaning is included to ensure optimal performance of the unit.
Extended Warranty Conditions
- Units can be extended up to of 5 years from purchase date.
Product Check-Up & Repair
- A product check-up will be conducted to assess the current condition of the unit.
- If repairs are required:
- For units within warranty, repair costs (parts and labor) are covered under the LG Best Care Program
- For out-of-warranty units, all repair costs including parts and labor shall be borne by the customer.
- Cleaning will only proceed once repairs are completed or if no repair is needed.
- Check-Up Fee Policy
- A standard check-up fee applies to out-of-warranty units.
- If, after the check-up, the customer chooses not to proceed with cleaning, the check-up fee will still be charged to cover the diagnostic service provided.
Cleaning Service
- Cleaning will proceed once repairs are completed or if no repair is needed.
- Extended Warranty period officially begins after cleaning is completed.
Enrollment of Products to LG Best Care Program
- Products will be registered by our LG Best Care Team based on the information provided to us.
- Once registered, customers will receive:
- Official Receipt
- Extended Warranty Certification (if w/ Extended Warranty)
- Documents are sent via email within 2–3 working days after cleaning is completed.

FOR NEW UNIT PURCHASE (Within 1 year from Purchase Date)
- Extended Warranty Eligibility
The Extended Warranty shall begin after the lapse of Basic/Original Warranty Period.

FOR AGED UNITS (More than 1 year from purchase date)
- Activation of Extended Warranty
The Extended Warranty shall start after the cleaning and unit is confirmed to be free from any defect.

Terms and Conditions
- Warranty covers part/s and labor for normal breakdown.
- Warranty does not cover the following conditions:
- The warranty will not apply if damaged, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, fire, maladjustment of controls, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges, voltage supply problems, acts of God, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by any insects, vermin or foreign object in the Product.
- Tampering or removal of serial number or the model or production number on the product has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible;
- Subjected to misuse, neglect, or abuse;
- Exposed to excess humidity or excess thermal conditions or to extreme environments or to rapid changes of these conditions. Please note natural conditions within countries covered by this agreement do not apply to this clause.
- Modified with third party's components or materials not provided by LG or unauthorized service organization; Unit has been installed or serviced by anyone other than the duly authorized service center/installer.
- Repairs or product modifications and alterations have been executed by unauthorized service organizations or persons;
- Product requires modification or adaptation to enable it to comply with local or national technical standards, which apply in countries for which the product was not originally designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized. Therefore always check whether a product can be used in a specific country.
- Damaged accessories like remote control. (LG reserves the right to inspect all damaged accessories and approve or reject warranty based on result of such).
- Unit’s pre-existing condition is subject for repair under special rates with our LG Best Care Repair Service; repair cost will be shouldered by the customer.
- Prepaid Payment can be refunded should customer opt to not proceed with the cleaning. The Refund Process will take 2 to 3 weeks to complete after the submission of the following:
- Vendor Record Form (to be provided by LG Best Care PIC)
- Government-issued ID
- Bank certificate
- Customer can only extend the unit’s LG Best Care program enrollment up to a maximum of 5 years from date of purchase.
